# VJS8_LEGACY_COMPONENT

Legacy Video.js 8 component registration error

`videojs.registerComponent()` was the Video.js 8 component tree. Video.js 10 components are custom elements and React components.

## Trigger

```javascript
videojs.registerComponent('MyButton', MyButton);
```

## Video.js 10 equivalent

Write a React component and place it inside `<VideoSkin>` or your own skin tree.
